Open your supplies in PSP. Open a new
canvas 600x600, you may resize/crop later.
Floodfill white. Add a new raster layer.
Selections, select all.
Resize the paper from the kit and paste into selection.
Select none. Apply the mask, and on your
layers pallette merge mask group.
Resize and add the snowflakes as a new layer.
Image>mirror or rotate to your liking..
Resize the complete overlay and add as a new layer.
Carefully trace around the frame
using your freehand selection tool.
Add a new raster layer and
floodfill with a color of choice.
Select none.
Drag this layer under frame.
Now use a face of a tube and place in frame.
Erase any bits hanging over.
Resize and add the ribbon.
I erased a bit to make it look like
it was wrapping around the rope.
Now add your main tube you will be using.
Resize and add the single Cluster rope.
Using your deformation tool rotate a little.
Place it at the bottom of your tube.
See above for example.
Resize and add the wordart.
Look Good? Woo-Hoo!
See mine above or make it your own!
As always mine is just a guide. Now X out the
bottom layer and your mask layers. Merge visable
the remaining layers. Un X the hidden layers.
Position all layers nicely.
Hint: You can X out the bottom white layer
before saving to have a transparent bkg for forums..
Save as PNG.
Add your Artist © and your Name and
WooT!! You Are Done!
Hope you enjoyed my tutorial & thanks for trying it!
Until next time!
